Last week we told you about WolfBane Alpha being attacked by the Kzin force. New this week are more details about those attacks.

Brim Darkstar (the current CEO of the WDC) says that the secretive special operations team known as the Rangers remain on full alert and still have all the surrounding space to WolfBane Alpha sealed off  with TracerMines and Beacons but have preprogrammed the Mines and Beacons to except any incoming ship that has a code installed prior to entering the system and seek out and destroy any of the that do not.

We had found out that the WDC has brought forth their newest weapons and technologies to confront the Kzin. PGC commented that they are still trying to let the WDC allow them into the WolfBane Alpha sector so they can provide any needed help that the Rangers may need to battle the Kzin.
 

Brim Darkstar commented that the, "Rangers do not require or request any help from anyone at this date or time." He was further quoted as saying that the Rangers have been doing "just fine" for the past 100+ years without anyone's help.

We have been given information on 2 of the WDC's newest systems they are using to combat the Kzin. New one-person attack vehicles, upgraded from what Mr. Darkstar calls the "Deloreon", are now used by all Rangers to protect the ground as well as the air and space surrounding the WDC and WolfBane Alpha areas.

Mr. Darkstar stated, "We were attacked 3 weeks ago for this new technology and believe the Kzin are trying to get their hands on such technology to try to take over our planet and possibly the rest of the Frontier sector by sector. This technology has been protected by the Rangers for years. The recent good will showed by the Frontier, especially the PGC whom I believe is trying to get a hold of the technology as well, has let us show you the new systems that we are using and allow the public the first ever showing of such equipment."

The second item shown to us by the WDC is something they call the "Ranger Battle Armor".

When asked to tell us more about it, Mr. Darkstar only showed us this picture and said that the rest is still classified.

We were allowed to talk to Mr. Zane M. Cole, a Ranger Instructor, and he told us that the new RBA is much more powerful than the standard Powered Assault Armor that one can find on various planets throughout the Frontier.

"Full specifications will be released when the time is appropriate," Mr. Cole told us. "We still need to take care of the matter at hand," referring to the Kzin menace.
